     Super Mario is a  platform game  series created by  Nintendo , featuring their mascot,  Mario . Alternatively called the  Super Mario Bros . series or simply the  Mario series, it is the central series of the greater  Mario  franchise . At least one  Super Mario  game has been released for every major  Nintendo video game console . There have also been a number of  Super Mario  video games released on non-Nintendo gaming platforms. [1]  There are currently twenty-one similar games and one cross-series game that may or may not be included as part of the series.  The  Super Mario  games follow Mario's adventures, typically in the fictional  Mushroom      Kingdom  with Mario as the  player character . He is often joined by his brother,  Luigi , and occasionally by other members of the  Mario  cast.      The novel coronavirus has triggered a global response of extreme measures. The immediate changes are countable. As of April 15, 2020, over 2 million cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been counted globally, with over 100,000 confirmed deaths . Tech tools to track the movement of infected people are being deployed around the world, from Israel to Singapore , with some of the largest historically rival companies globally – Apple and Google – teaming up to develop a tracking system. At least 118 of the UN-recognized 195 countries have put into place travel bans or border restrictions. Social distancing measures limiting public gatherings are in place in at least 151 countries, with at least 74 countries accomplishing this by law, order, or regulation. Today marks a sad milestone in Cambodia’s struggle with the virus, and it also marks one year since WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Times like this force us to reflect on what we have learned and to take action to stop the outbreak. Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 117 million cases of COVID-19 and 2.6 million deaths have been reported to WHO globally, including more than 1.6 million cases and more than 29 000 deaths in the Western Pacific Region. Each and every one of these deaths is a tragedy. We must do all we can to prevent further loss of life.      The Ministry of Health (MOH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) called on everyone to do what they can to fight against COVID-19 with solidarity. “The current COVID-19 situation in Cambodia remains serious. What we do right now will determine the course of this outbreak,” said His Excellency Professor Mam Bunheng, Minister of Health . “We must all accelerate our efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the coming days and weeks. Lives depend on it.” On 20 February, 32 locally acquired COVID-19 cases were reported in Phnom Penh after a breach in quarantine. As of 19 March, a total of 1578 cases, including one death, have been reported in Cambodia since the beginning of the pandemic. The recent COVID-19 outbreaks are most likely caused by the new B.1.1.7 variant, which transmits more quickly than previously circulating virus.
